An international point of destination for tourists and conferences providing a $26 million economic impact annually while preserving our military and aviation history from the Civil War to the present honoring 140,000 vets in Eastern WA.
Galleries that convey the technology of an era, and optimally present the lives and culture of the people who used the artifacts in the collection. Our artifact collection is valued at over $728,000 and our 26 aircraft collection valued at over $5,483,228.
Educational resources available to 300,000 students in 183 school districts of the Inland Northwest. All colleges and universities within the area will be impacted and also include:
- Research Library with more than 50,000 archival documents available to students, government agencies and community members.
- Internship Programs with hands-on experience for college students with accredited history curriculum utilizing museum collection and extensive archival library of military and world history.
- Interactive educational programs and tours for area students.
- "Points of History" and "Points of Pride" curriculum for ROTC classes from universities and high schools.
The new museum will compliment and work in cooperation with the Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC) and represents the region's extensive military history. It will also be collaborative with other museums, providing a continuum of service in technology programs and event promotions.
